South Africa
South Africa's 2024 elections saw the lowest voter turnout in the country's democratic history since the end of apartheid. Namibia
Namibia's 2020 elections resulted in a Supreme Court ruling that electronic voting machines without a paper audit trail are unconstitutional, leading to the decision to use manual ballot papers for the 2024 election. AHEAD Africa will grant local partners to follow-up on election observation recommendations on this and the whole electoral process.
