With Ethiopia’s June 2026 elections on the horizon—and pressure mounting on civic space and security—the East and Horn of Africa Election Observation Network (E-HORN), alongside the Consortium of Ethiopian Human Rights Organizations (CEHRO) et le Coalition des organisations de la société civile éthiopienne pour les élections (CECOE), is bringing key voices together in a high-level Multi-Stakeholder Country Forum to tackle risks head-on and unlock opportunities for credible elections.
The Country Forum will spark honest conversations on safeguarding civic space online, preventing electoral violence, and ensuring institutions are ready to deliver inclusive elections. Civil society, election authorities, political actors, media, and security agencies will exchange hard lessons from across the region, turning experience into action to help Ethiopia move toward peaceful, credible polls.
More details on the event will be announced shortly.
