Democracy Reporting International

Berlin, Germany
Democracy Reporting International (DRI) was founded in 2006 by an international group of experts on democratic governance and elections.
DRI was established in response to a gap in the field of democratic governance and elections, which was largely dominated by big intergovernmental organisations and commercial consultancies. DRI serves as a non-governmental, independent organisation dedicated to swiftly and flexibly analysing democratic developments and advising on constitutional and electoral frameworks.
Over the years, DRI has expanded its work from research and analysis to direct engagement with partners on the ground, aiming to improve democratic structures and safeguards in the eight countries where they operate across three continents.
