The Association des Blogueurs de Guinée (ABLOGUI) is a civil society network that brings together bloggers and web activists from Guinea to promote citizen participation, digital rights, and good governance through technology. Founded in 2011, uses digital tools and online platforms to support freedom of expression, transparency, and the responsible use of social media in public debate.

It runs initiatives like ‘GuinéeVote’ for election monitoring, ‘LAHIDI’ for civic data, and ‘IdimiJam.com’, amplifying voices from communities often under‑represented in traditional media. Through these platforms, ABLOGUI empowers citizens to access public information, report irregularities, and engage responsibly in civic debates.

With support from Africtivistes, as part of the Digitalise Youth and AHEAD Africa projects, and powered by the Digital Democracy Initiative, ABLOGUI is expanding its digital tools to engage young Guineans, especially women, in electoral education, fact-checking, and citizen monitoring. Building on the experience of ‘GuinéeVote’, it will equip youth to identify misinformation, participate responsibly in elections, and promote transparency. By connecting e-observers, their families, journalists, and local authorities, it strengthens inclusive participation, public trust, and accountability in Guinea’s democratic process.
